About Us
We have small classes by design. Lessons and activities are based on well researched learning and teaching practices. We are committed as a staff to continually revising our program to meet the needs of the students that are currently enrolled, not to expect children to fit into a totally predetermined curriculum.
We are using the Washington State’s Essential Learnings, developmental growth continuums and the newly developed Early Learning and Developmental Benchmarks for children from birth to age 5 to guide our program design.
Our intention is to remain a small learning center, with personalized support to students and families. We know that the first 10 to 12 years of a child’s life are critical to building a strong moral, spiritual and academic foundation for life. We want to work with children while adults, not peers, are the most significant role models for them.
We have a number of local private and public intermediate schools available to our students, when they are ready to transition to middle school.
